HayAILive privacy policy
HayAILive is a Chrome extension and service from HayAITech that interprets online meetings live between Vietnamese, Japanese and English. This policy explains what HayAILive handles, why, where it goes and how long it is kept. It covers the HayAILive Chrome extension, the HayAILive server at translate.hayaicall.com, and this website, live.hayaicall.com.
In short
- Nothing is captured until you agree to the notice in the extension and press Start. Capture ends when you press Stop.
- Meeting audio, and your microphone while My voice is on, are processed to make subtitles and translated speech, then discarded. We do not store recordings, transcripts or translations.
- We use Amazon Web Services (hosting in Tokyo, Amazon Transcribe, Amazon Polly) and Anthropic (Claude) to provide the service. Neither uses your content to train or improve its models or services.
- No ads, no analytics, no tracking, and we never sell data.

The extension runs scripts only on meet.google.com, to show subtitles over the call and, with My voice on, to give Meet the translated speech as your microphone. It does not read your browsing history, other websites or your Meet chat.
2. What the server records
- Usage records: account name, session ID, extension version, session start and end, seconds of audio, counts of utterances and errors, error codes, and timing figures such as how long translations took. Used to run the service, enforce daily usage limits and fix problems.
- Web server logs: time, request path, status and duration of each request. Server logs do not contain IP addresses or the words spoken in meetings.
- Both are kept for 14 days, then deleted automatically.
3. Service providers
HayAITech uses these providers only to deliver the service. They process data on our behalf under their own terms.
- Amazon Web Services: hosting of the HayAILive server (Amazon Lightsail, Tokyo region), speech recognition (Amazon Transcribe, Tokyo region) and speech synthesis (Amazon Polly, Tokyo region). Under the AWS Service Terms, AWS may store and use content processed by Amazon Transcribe and Amazon Polly to develop and improve these services, possibly outside the region where it was processed, unless the AWS customer opts out. HayAITech has opted out for all AWS AI services across its AWS organization (since 22 October 2026), so AWS does not store or use HayAILive's audio or text to develop or improve its services. AWS still processes the content as needed to provide the service.
- Anthropic: translation with Claude through the Anthropic API. Under Anthropic's commercial terms, Anthropic does not train its models on this content, and it deletes API inputs and outputs within 30 days by default, except content flagged under its Usage Policy (kept up to 2 years) or where the law requires longer retention.
Data may therefore be processed in Japan and in the United States.
4. What we do not do
- We do not record meetings or store audio, transcripts or translations on our servers.
- We do not sell or rent data, show ads, use analytics or tracking, or build profiles.
- We do not use or transfer data for anything other than providing live interpretation, and never to determine creditworthiness or for lending.
- People at HayAITech do not read meeting content. Content is not kept, so there is none to read.
The use of information received by HayAILive complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
5. Other people in your meetings
HayAILive processes the voices of everyone who can be heard in the meeting tab. Tell the other participants that you are using live translation, and follow your organization's rules and the laws that apply to you. HayAILive shows this reminder before your first session.
6. Your choices
- Press Stop at any time to end capture, and turn off My voice to stop sending your microphone.
- Delete the glossary or meeting notes in the side panel, or remove the extension to delete everything it stored in your browser.
- Ask us to deactivate your client key and delete its account name by writing to the address below. Usage records are deleted after 14 days in any case.
- If what the extension sends, or to whom, changes, it shows its data notice again and asks for your agreement before the next session.
7. Security
- All traffic between the extension and the server is encrypted (HTTPS and secure WebSockets).
- Keys for AWS and Anthropic exist only on the server, never in the extension.
- Client keys are exchanged for short-lived, single-use session tickets. The server accepts connections only from the HayAILive extension and limits usage per account.
8. If you use your own server
If you change the server address in Settings, the extension sends your data to that server instead. Its operator decides how the data is processed and kept, and this policy does not cover it.
9. Children
HayAILive is a workplace tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
10. This website
live.hayaicall.com uses no cookies, analytics or ads. It remembers your language choice in your browser's local storage. It loads fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address. Server logs for the website are as described in section 2.
11. Changes
We post changes on this page with a new effective date. Material changes to what the extension sends are also announced in the extension, as described in section 6.
